Correlations between the characteristics of a negative polarization branch are studied for asteroids, satellites, and laboratory samples with allowance for strict statistical criteria. The reasons for these correlations are studied on the basis of the theory of light scattering by rough surfaces (Kolokolova, 1987). The relationships between negative polarization branch characteristics and their connection to albedo are explained. It is shown that some correlations are caused by the dependence of polarimetric magnitudes on the surface structure.
