The relation between the optimal precise localization and the three-satellite constellation is studied. The localization of an object on the earth by the observational data from three satellites which combined as a constellation is an important method for present navigation. The precision of localization depends on the figuration of three satellites. By precise numerical computation, the optimal configuration with highest precision can be obtained statistically. The results indicate that the localization precision is the highest when the three-satellite constellation is presented in equilateral triangle within a localization precision area.
