Cosmic Rays-Leaky Box Model-Re-Acceleration

Scientific paper

We start with the propagation equation of cosmic rays with acceleration in the energy space and give mathematical expressions for the primary high-energy spectrum and the ratio between the primary and secondary nuclei. Our result shows that the re-acceleration of the cosmic rays in the interstellar space possibly exists and that there is no need to consider different spatial distributions for the primaries and secondaries.
