Procedure outlined by Saito and Billings (1964) has been used for
deriving the three-dimensional configurations of 17 coronal streamers
from photographs of the total solar eclipse of February 16, 1980. Almost
all the streamers were traced to their origin in some optical feature
found on the synoptic map of the sun.
