The author estimates the two-point spatial correlation functions for Abell clusters with distance class D ≤ 4 and richness R ≥ 0, and for those with R ≥ 3. He finds that the correlation functions of Abell clusters with R ≥ 0, R = 0 and R ≥ 3 can be represented by 175 r-1.8, 150 r-1.8 and 1900 r-1.8, respectively. Combining previous statistical results of the correlation function of Abell clusters with R ≥ 1 and R ≥ 2, the author obtains a relation α ∝ N1.6 between the correlation amplitude α and the richness N of the clusters. Within the statistical uncertainties of the correlation amplitudes, the α-N relation can be explained well in the cosmic string model.
