Scientific paper

Simultaneous spectra of H-alpha spicules at nine different heights have been analyzed. These spectra were obtained with the 25-cm coude coronograph of the Norikura Solar Observatory. Data include 227 line profiles of H-alpha spicules, FWHM, absolute intensities, and line-of-sight velocities. The analysis shows that the line-of-sight velocity along the H-alpha spicule varies weakly with height.
