The radial linear stability of a transonic a-viscosity accretion disk around a black hole is investigated based on a polytropic equation of state. The radial velocity of the accretion flow is considered in deriving the perturbed dispersion relation. The accretion flow becomes unstable when the viscosity parameter a is greater than a critical value which is determined by the value of the polytropic index and the radial velocity of the flow.
