W43 is one of the most energetics star formation regions in the Galaxy and respresents an excellent laboratory to study massive star formation from the protostellar phase to giant HII regions. We present Spitzer Space Telescope/GLIMPSE observations of this region in the IRAC bands from 3.6 to 8 microns. In particular, we examine the infrared colors and magnitudes of this cluster to search for protostar candidates, as well as characterizing the distribution of PAH emission and dark clouds. This project was supported by an NSF REU Site grant to the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
