A portable prism spectrosensitometer with an absolute calibration was designed for evaluation of the spectral sensitivity of photographic materials used in astronomy. The spectral region from 380 to 880 nm is covered and it is possible to place one, two or three exposures on one sample. An easy measurement of reciprocity characteristics and a quick check of hypersensitizing procedures are also possible.
