Spectra of the Be star HD 184279 have been studied. The H-alpha line
appears in emission, and its profile is given. The equivalent widths and
the intensities of the measured absorption lines are also given. The
lines observed in HD 184279 are used to estimate the central star's
atmospheric parameters as well as those of its surrounding shell.
