We present results of one of the first large-scale southern sky surveys aimed at detection of bright Kuiper Belt objects. The survey fields obtained a limiting brightness of R = 21.6 mag, allowing the detection of any dwarf planets within a few hundred AU. About 2200 square degrees of sky south of declination -25 degrees was covered. Fourteen previously unknown trans-Neptunian objects were discovered including three potential dwarf planet candidates. The main part of the survey was conducted on the 1.3 m Warsaw telescope (Las Campanas) equipped with a camera consisting of 32 CCD chips with a total field of view equal to 1.4 square degrees. Additional observations were performed on the 4 m Blanco telescope (CTIO) and the 6.5 m Magellan telescope (Las Campanas).
