The results from the Kamiokande neutrino-electron scattering experiments are compared with those from a chlorine experiment and with solar models. The comparison shows that the standard electroweak model with zero neutrino masses is probably inadequate to explain the findings. It is concluded that the nonadiabatic Mikheyev-Smirnov-Wolfenstein solution is the most likely explanation of the problem.
