The Einstein Observatory was used to observe 19 galactic supernova remnants in the soft X-ray band. The X-ray luminosities and X-ray morphologies of the remnants were then compared to optical and radio data, with some large scale correlation between the radio and X-ray features noted in several of the remnants. The temperature of the emitting X-ray plasma was obtained through a spectral analysis of each remnant in the sample. Detailed analyses were carried out on the two remnants representing the extremes in age.
