With an IDEA grant, we have just completed national site-testing of a series of hands-on activities in K--9 classrooms. These activities emphasize the study of space sciences as a tool for integrating science, mathematics, language arts, fine arts, literature, and social studies. The final evaluation of the teacher responses and student-produced materials is now being conducted and will be reported. The activities will then be revised and prepared for distribution through a variety of networks such as National Science Teachers Association meetings and Space Grant Consortia.
