Elliptical Galaxies: Numerical Simulations, Elliptical Galaxies: Formation

Scientific paper

Elliptical galaxy formation is simulated using a mode of interacting
galaxies in tree code. The structure of the elliptical galaxy is
analysed by the method of inertia tensor and curve-fitting and the
relative lengths of the semiaxes of the simulated elliptical galaxy are
derived.
