For two of the three indices that figure in usual approximate formulae for emissivity and absorptivity in gyrosynchrotron radiation, we use a quadratic rather than a linear fitting of the electron power index δ. For usual astrophysical range of δ and harmonic number, the accuracies of our formulae are better than 7% and 17%, much better than previous ones based on linear fitting.
