A radio frequency search for isolated pulses detected no pulses that could be ascribed to explosions of primordial black holes. It has been suggested that generation of short (less than 1 ms) radio pulses detectable at interstellar or cosmological distances involves the exclusion of the surrounding magnetic field by the shell of charged particles emitted in the explosion of the primordial black hole. The reported radio frequency search, which achieved higher sensitivity than previous searches, indicates an implied limit on primordial black hole explosions of 2 times 10 to the minus ninth events/cubic pc per year.
