Self-similar flows of a gas moving under the gravitational attraction of a central body of fixed mass behind a spherical shock wave and propagating in a non-uniform atmosphere at rest, taking radiation heat flux into consideration, are investigated. The total energy of the wave between the shock front and inner expanding surface is taken to be time-dependent.
