Low resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio CCD spectroscopy of the T Tau star V410 Tau in the region of TiO bands near 7100 A was carried out in 1991/92. A relationship between the V-magnitude of the star and intensity of the TiO bands was found, in favor of the hypothesis of cold spots on the star surface. The relationship is modeled using synthetic spectra of the photosphere and cold spot.
