We present preliminary results from a search for Milky Way ultra-faint dwarf galaxies in the SDSS3. We search for statistical overdensities of point sources over a few thousand square degrees of SDSS3 BOSS imaging. We use the theoretical isochrone of a metal-poor, old stellar population to enhance the signal from possible dwarf candidates relative to the local foreground and background. We present structural properties and results of follow-up spectroscopy of the most promising candidates.
