We present results from an ongoing search for Hot Jupiter transit signals and other forms of stellar variability in the photometry from bright (I~<~6) stars, using the Solar Mass Ejection Imager (SMEI). We have obtained 3 years of all sky photometry, and have produced lightcurves for over 13,000 bright stars. We have achieved a precision of better than ≈ 1% for 1600 lightcurves which have been searched for transit signals, but no detections have been confirmed to date. We are additionally studying the variability of these bright stars, and are engaged in astroseismological studies of a number of the giant stars in our dataset. We are unaware of any other project that has monitored all of the bright stars for over 3 years with such regularity as our project.
