Zones have been scanned at 2 microns around 22 Herbit-Haro objects. A
number of infrared sources are found, some identified with stars that
have been studied spectroscopically. Few, if any, are likely to be the
exciting stars for the nebulae. Such stars are probably embedded within
the dark clouds by more than 30 mag of visual extinction
