Previous observations have revealed 3 classical T Tauri Stars (cTTS) and 1 weak-lined T Tauri Star (wTTS) along the line of sight to the high galactic latitude dark cloud MBM12 (L1453-L1454, L1457, L1458). At a distance of 65 pc, MBM12 is one of the nearest molecular clouds to the sun. Therefore, it is not surprising that all of the previously known T Tauri stars along this line of sight were detected in the 25 ks ROSAT PSPC pointed observation of the cloud. We present the ROSAT PSPC pointed and ROSAT All-Sky Survey (RASS) observations of the T Tauri stars (TTS) associated with the cloud and the results of our recent follow-up observations at the 2.2-meter telescope on Calar Alto of the previously unidentified X-ray sources in this cloud. In addition, we discuss recent Hipparcos satellite measurements that show the accepted distance to the cloud is not as well constrained as previously thought.
