No early-type stars are found associated with the 38 day Cepheid U Car. XZ Car lies at a distance comparable to the rich Car OB1 complex; but its membership in this association is not established by the present data. QY Cen and VX Cru are not located in associations of early-type stars. The 12 day Cepheid AA Nor is projected on a poor anonymous cluster centered at alpha = 15h 45 m 23s, delta = 57 deg 26.4 arcmin (1950). This cluster has an age similar to that of the Hyades and Coma clusters and is situated in front of the Cepheid. Because of its large distance from the galactic plane, AA Nor is likely to be a Cepheid of Population II.
