A search for the presence of Li-6 in the spectrum of the metal-poor halo subdwarf HD 84937 is reported. An upper limit to the Li isotopic ratio for the subdwarf is set at Li-6/Li-7 less than 0.1. It is suggested HD 84937 is sufficiently hot to contain some initial Li-6 after a Hubble time since the star formed. The upper limit to the Li isotopic ratio is consistent with the prediction of standard big bang nucleosynthesis (Wagoner, 1973). The ratio is two orders of magnitude smaller than that required in the nonstandard theoretical model of Dimopoulos et al. (1988), based on a long-lived, unstable particle.
