IPS observations of Cygnus A at 81.5 MHz with the Cambridge 3.6-hectare
array set an upper limit on the scintillation of 0.07 per cent of the
total flux density. This suggests that the hotspots seen at high
frequencies are much less prominent at low frequencies.
