The central areas of de Vaucouleurs' groups NGC 1023 and CVn II have been searched for intergalactic H I clouds with the 25-m Dwingeloo and 100-m Effelsberg radio telescopes, but none were detected. If the clouds have properties similar to those found in the Sculptor group, the search yields upper limits of 4 and 260 million solar masses respectively for the mass of an individual cloud in each group.
