Many of the unidentified EGRET sources in the galactic plane are good pulsar candidates but firm identifications are difficult due to the large uncertainties in the localizations and a loss of sensitivity above a few GeV. With greatly improved localizations and substantially better sensitivity, the Large Area Telescope (LAT) aboard the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope will open up a new era of gamma-ray pulsar science. A recent high frequency radio search of 3EG error circles led to the discovery of PSR J1028-5819 which has the smallest duty cycle of any known radio-loud pulsar. The association of this pulsar with a known gamma-ray source makes it an excellent candidate for detection by the LAT. We report on the search for γ-ray pulsations at the radio period.
