In July 2002 we have started a multi site campaign to search for extrasolar giant planets in the old metal-rich open cluster NGC 6791. Three different sites were involved in the project: 1. Hawaii, CFH telescope; 2. Mexico (San Pedro Mártir); 3. Italy (Loiano-Bologna). The weather conditions were not optimal during this multi-site campaign and only about 70% of the scheduled observations could be carried out. In this paper we show preliminary results from the central chip (6 arcmin x 12 arcmin) of the camera of the CFH.
