Observations have been conducted at wavelengths of 3.9, 7.6 and 8.2 cm with the RATAN-600 radio telescope, over a wide brightness temperature dynamic range, for the fields in the vicinity of the radio sources 3C 273 and 3C 120. Confirmation is obtained for one of two previously reported features in 3C 273, which is in the same position angle as the optical jet. In addition, features of about 1.0 arcmin have been discovered on either side of 3C 120 at a distance of about 1.3 arcmin, in a position which is close to that of the subluminal components. If the features observed are indeed associated with the two objects studied, the energy stored in them would be several orders of magnitude greater than the energy in the nuclear components of these sources.
