We present a spectroscopic search for jet features in the cataclysmic variables (CVs) RW Sex, UX UMa, and RW Tri, and in the symbiotic system MWC 560. No unambiguous identification of jets are made in the CVs, which has interesting implications for the source of collimated outflows. In the symbiotic system MWC 560, which has previously had the presence of a collimated jet postulated, we have identified tentative jet features corresponding to a jet speed of about 3000 km s-1. If confirmed, this would be the second symbiotic system with a positive identification of a jet. An updated ephemeris for RW Sex is also presented.
