Restricted sky coverage, one of well-known disadvantages of a spherical-reflector radio telescope, can be alleviated by a suitable choice of geometric parameters of the reflector. Problems associated along with the modification could be partially solved by a scheme of co-spheric feed array. Realization of multibeam in surveying mode is also possible in this scheme.
