The construction and mission of the white-light coronagraph for the
satellite Koronas-I is described. The spatial resolution of the
apparatus is 76 arcsec, and the range in the solar corona observations
is from 2.2 to 10.0 solar radii. The experiment deals with the physics
of the solar corona and with sun-earth relationships.
