The rotation curve of the dwarf galaxy UGC 2259 in the radial range 0.25 - 2.5 kpc was obtained from two separate data cubes. A disk model, with mass following the radial luminosity profile, cannot produce the observed rotation curve, but a satisfactory fit is obtained by adding a dark halo component. At the Holmberg radius, the amount of dark matter in UGC 2259 then would be between 0.7 and 0.8 times the luminous mass in the disk. An alternative two component model is presented, without a halo, but containing two separate disk components, with the second meant to represent the distribution of visual light obscuring material. A similar fit was applied to the Sc galaxy NGC 3198. The masses of the second disks obtained from this analysis are in excellent agreement with the masses predicted from the general photometric extinction properties of dwarf Sc's as deduced from opacity studies.
