The Wilson-Devinney program is used to solve the light and radial velocity curve of WX Cnc, confirming that it is a detached binary. By adding a spot to the surface of the secondary star, the asymmetry in the light curve revealed in the new solution is satisfactorily explained. The new solution shows the secondary to be a G4V star, and not a G8V star as previously thought. Both stars show evolution in the main sequence.
