The method of orbit improvement is studied through processing the simulated optical data of 20 satellites. The criterion of deletion makes the ratio of outliers to be less than 10% in most cases. After using Huber estimation twice, Hampel estimation is used to get the result when it converges. This method ensures the accuracy of orbit. The parameter C 0,C1 and C2 of Hampel estimation are deeply studied, and the result is: C0=2.2, C1=3.6, C2 changes with the value of single outliers.
