Several methods on identifying and deleting local relative deformations between extragalactic radio source catalogues are discussed. In combination with examples, the characteristics and the appropriate application scopes of methods are analyzed. It is concluded that the Arc Length Difference method is presently the most effective and feasible method for deleting local relative deformations.
