We present a new precise localization for the soft gamma repeater SGR1806-20, derived with data of the 3rd Interplanetary Network. Between November 1996 and February 1999, Ulysses, BATSE, and KONUS- WIND observed this SGR approximately 16 times in a mode where one or more of the spacecraft recorded high resolution, triggered data. In each case, this results in an annulus of possible locations. By combining the annuli, we arrive at an error box which is smaller than any previous one based on the bursts from this source. We compare this new location with radio maps of the supernova remnant G10.0-0.3.
