A pressure-scanned Fabry-Perot polychromator/imager has been used to conduct a radial velocity survey of the H II region S101. A tentative model of S101 is proposed, in light of a discussion of observation results, in which the H II/H I molecular comoving sheets furnish a useful way of describing the dynamics of H II regions generally. The existing dynamical structure is revealed by photoionization, rather than being generated by the interaction of the star with its surroundings.
