Spectra of the two dwarf novae SS Cygni and RU Pegasi have been analyzed in a manner that is believed to reduce systematic errors arising from asymmetric mass motions. Revised spectroscopic orbital elements for the two systems are presented along with estimates of the component masses and orbital inclination of SS Cygni and limits to the component masses and orbital inclination of RU Pegasi.
