Attention is given to a system of two or more satellites connected by a cable and arranged radially, so that each satellite moves in a circular orbit. Calculations are presented for a radial system of two satellites, involving a cable-supported payload. A particular numerical example is discussed, namely the deployment of a cable-supported payload from the Salyut-Soyuz-Progress orbital complex.
