We have computed cross-sections and rate coefficients for rotational transitions in HD, induced by collisions with H atoms. We employed fully quantum mechanical methods and a recent potential for H-H_2, adapted to the case of H-HD. Results for H-HD are compared with those for H-H_2, obtained with the same potential, and with calculations by Roueff & Zeippen for He-HD.
