Based entirely on space geodetic measurements, we investigate the velocities of relative motions of the boundaries of global active plates, the types of plate motion, the expansion of the southern hemisphere, the compression of the northern hemisphere as well as the amplitudes of seasonal variations of vertical GPS motions and the latitude distribution of their phases. The following quantitative characteristics of the global tectonic distribution are obtained: the spatial location and geometric morphology of global tectonics are mutually symmetric, while the tectonic features are not so. The global tectonics is asymmetrical.
