If $\rho$ is a zero of the Riemann zeta function $\zeta$ in the critical
strip, we deduce that $\Re(\rho) = 1/2$. We do so, by equating the Dirichlet
eta function with certain integrals of fractional parts. From there we get an
equation satisfied by all zeros of the Riemann zeta function in the critical
strip. We reach the final result with the help of that equation.
