Using the MCNP Monte Carlo radiation transport code, the scattering of gamma-rays from (22) Na (1.2 MeV photons) has been modeled. The nova models consist of spherically symmetric shells of material whose density decreases with the square of the shell's radius. The material throughout the shells is characteristic of ejecta from an O-Ne-Mg nova. Models have been calculated with a variety of ejected shell masses and radii, and in general the downscattered photon flux at 1 keV is 10(5) times less than the 1 MeV flux. These will be used to check the consistency of the ROSAT X-ray flux with the COMPTON lower-limit gamma-ray flux.
