We solve the induction equation under the assumption of the spherical symmetrical homogeneous cooling flow model. We then employ general momentum and vorticity considerations and demonstrate that a purely radial field configuration will not drive turbulence and that the X-ray emission observation is not affected by the turbulence in most of the cooling flow region. Effects of these deviations from spherical symmetry are expected only in the innermost part of the cooling flow. Finally, using general vorticity and turbulence arguments, we show that the nebular filaments in the cooling flow center can be a result of magnetic collimation.
