Earth Rotation: Variations
Scientific paper
Observations and records of central solar eclipses in ancient times are
valuable for the study of variation of the length of the day, that is
the variation of the Earth's rotation. A record in ancient China may be
about an annular solar eclipse. In this paper, the record is
investigated and the variation of the length of the day is discussed.
