Kozerog, a position-sensitive photon-counting photodetector, consists of an optoelectronic converter, two herringbone microchannel plates, and a quadrant anode. The dark current amounts to 100 imp/s, the linear part of the light-signal dependence approaches 600,000 imp/s, and the coordinate sensitivity is 12 microns. The lower limit of star observations is a magnitude of 10 m using the 60-cm telescope.
