Photometric observations of eight C class and 1 S class asteroids are presented. Light curve fragments determined in this study will be used with future observations to determine rotation rates of observed asteroids. This is part of an ongoing survey to photometrically observe primitive asteroids as a precursor to observing the same asteroids spectroscopically. Spectroscopic observations will be used to search for evidence of aqueous alteration on the asteroid surface. Photometry results will enhance this by establishing rotation periods, pole orientation, and shape; hence, a better understanding of where on the surface the alteration has taken place.
