Scientific paper

Photoelectric observations of the eclipsing binary, TX UMa, in two colors are presented. Solutions of the light curves based on the Russell model were obtained and they are in good agreement with the published solutions for the observations by Koch (1961). Discrete change in period was noticed around JD 2438856. A transfer of 1.1×10-5M_sun; from the cooler star to the B8 companion could account for the period change.
